Join us for a workshop that is part slide show, part how-to, and part environmental health imperative. I want to take the anxiety out of camp planning and execution, and leave you feeling inspired to pitch a tent with your kids. Feedback from Camping With Kids -Smithville and Camping With Kids -St. Catharines was great and I am very excited to share this presentation with you online.
Registration fees cover access to the live workshop online, a video recording of the event, kit list, gear list, menu ideas, tips and tricks, and resources for keeping babes safe (sun, bug bites, and smoke) as well as a resource list for more information. You will also receive updates and resources about camping and the environment periodically by email after the event.
Perhaps you have camping experience but haven't pitched a tent since your first was born.
Perhaps you've never camped before, but feel enticed (and a wee bit scared) to try it out.
Perhaps you simply want to counter all that indoor time with nature and the outdoors to boost physical or mental health.
Regardless, I welcome you to join me at this free workshop that is part slide show, part "how to", and part environmental imperative.
WHEN: Saturday July 20 2019
TIME: 10:30am to 12:00pm
COST: $11 on or before July 13th, $19 after July 13th
E-transfer fees to firstname.lastname@example.org and email me so that you can receive the link and the handouts.
In this workshop, you can expect to:
Enjoy a photo slide show of camping in Ontario and America's South-West;
Receive a basic kit list, gear list and menu ideas via email;
Hear practical strategies, funny foibles, and creative hacks to make the camping experience go smoothly;
Learn about environmental illness, and the health benefits of camping and time in nature.
I am passionate about the benefits of nature, and the importance of outdoor time for child health and development. I’m happy to share this passion with those wanting a little boost of know-how and excitement to get out there and enjoy nature.
